How Much Do Faux Wood Finished Concrete Floors Cost?

The cost for a DIY faux wood concrete floor design is about $2 – $4 per square foot. If you were to hire a professional contractor, you can expect the cot to be about $8 – $10 per square foot.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR CONCRETE FLOORS TO LOOK LIKE WOOD

STEP 1

Clean and remove oil stains from concrete surface and rinse thoroughly.

STEP 2

Using painters tape, mimic the shape of floor wood planks.

STEP 3

Apply Smooth Gray Concrete Overlay

STEP 4

Texture concrete overlay with a broom

STEP 5

Apply the Antiquing Stain colors of choice or mix various brown tone pigment with water and spray the colors onto the wet overlay.

STEP 6

Darken random sections with a Tinted Concrete Sealer to provide greater color contrast across floor

STEP 7

Seal with two coats of satin finish Acrylic Concrete Sealer.
