We sealed the deck every 2-3 years as we thought the only way to revive the color was painting the stamped concrete which we did not want to do as we wanted to keep the color dimension it had.<br \/>\nWhen we found the Direct Colors Antiquing Stain and EasySeal Kit it seemed to be the answer for a DYI project to meet our needs and to give the pool deck an uplift.<br \/>\nI ordered 2 Charcoal Antiquing Stain &amp; EasySeal Kits and 1 Khaki Antiquing Stain &amp; EasySeal Kit to see if it would give us the results we wanted. All with two coats of the Khaki easy coat tinted sealer and a third\/top coat of clear easy coat sealer on top.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Personal Tips:<\/strong><br \/>\nIf using a pump sprayer have someone else use a roller for a fast and even application. Our sprayer stopped working well and we simply rolled which worked fine. We went up and down and back and forth. Multiple very light coats seemed to be the best way to apply. It was our first time using a sealer and we are used to paints and or epoxy so it seemed to us very uneven and it highlighted imperfections in the concrete but as it dried it evened out and looked good.
