EasyCureSeal™ Cure & Seal Concrete Seale
EasyCureSeal™ Cure & Seal Concrete Seale
Cures and seals fresh concrete in one step for proper hydration, surface protection, and a durable satin finish..
How much do I need to seal my concrete?
- It will depend on the square footage of your application.
- The coverage rate is 200 square feet per gallon (2 coats) depending on concrete porosity. At least 2 coats are required.

Product Details
EasyCureSeal™ is a professional-grade, solvent-based acrylic cure and seal formulated specifically for application to freshly poured and stamped concrete. It serves a dual purpose that no regular concrete sealer can: it retains moisture in the fresh concrete slab to ensure proper curing (the hydration process that gives concrete its strength), and it simultaneously forms a protective acrylic seal on the surface — locking in the moisture for curing while protecting the surface from the moment it's applied.
On a standard concrete pour, the slab needs to cure (retain internal moisture for hydration) for days or weeks to reach full strength. Without proper moisture retention, the concrete cures too fast, develops surface cracking, and never reaches its design strength. Traditional curing methods — wet burlap, plastic sheeting, ponding water — are effective but labor-intensive and impractical for stamped and decorative concrete where the surface texture needs to be preserved and protected from day one.
EasyCureSeal™ solves this by forming an acrylic membrane on the fresh concrete surface that holds moisture in while the slab cures underneath. Once the concrete reaches sufficient strength, the acrylic membrane transitions from a curing aid to a permanent protective sealer — protecting the surface from UV, water penetration, staining, and traffic just like a standalone sealer would. Two jobs done by one product in one application step.
What EasyCureSeal™ Is Used For
Freshly stamped concrete — The primary use case. Stamped concrete needs to be sealed as soon as possible after stamping to protect the stamp pattern, retain moisture for proper curing, and lock in the color from integral pigment or colored release agents. EasyCureSeal™ is applied directly to the freshly stamped surface (after the stamp mats are removed and any excess release agent is cleaned up) and does both jobs at once. This is the product that stamped concrete contractors reach for on the day of the pour.
Fresh concrete pours that need immediate protection — Driveways, patios, walkways, and any concrete slab that benefits from immediate sealing on pour day rather than waiting weeks for the concrete to cure before applying a standalone sealer.
Decorative concrete where surface appearance matters from day one — Colored concrete, integrally-pigmented concrete, and stamped concrete where the color and texture need to be protected from the moment the slab is poured. Rain, dirt, construction traffic, and UV exposure can damage unprotected fresh concrete. EasyCureSeal™ provides immediate protection.
Commercial concrete pours where curing efficiency matters — On large commercial pours where wet-curing with burlap or plastic sheeting is impractical, EasyCureSeal™ provides chemical membrane curing and surface protection in one step.
EasyCureSeal™ vs. Regular Concrete Sealer: Different Products for Different Timing
EasyCureSeal™ and a regular concrete sealer (like EasySeal™) are not interchangeable. They're designed for different points in the concrete lifecycle:
EasyCureSeal™ is applied to fresh, uncured concrete — typically on pour day or within 24-48 hours of the pour. It retains moisture for curing while providing surface protection. It is specifically formulated to work with concrete that is still hydrating and has not yet reached full strength.
A regular concrete sealer (like EasySeal™ or AcquaSeal™) is applied to fully cured concrete — typically 28+ days after the pour, or on existing concrete that was poured weeks, months, or years ago. Regular sealers are not formulated for moisture retention and should not be applied to fresh concrete that is still curing.
If you're sealing existing concrete that was poured more than 28 days ago, you need a regular sealer, not a cure and seal. If you're sealing fresh concrete on pour day or within the first few days, EasyCureSeal™ is the right product.
How to Use EasyCureSeal™
Full step-by-step instructions ship with the product. Overview:
- Wait for the concrete to reach the right stage. The concrete should be finished (stamped, troweled, or textured) and firm enough to walk on without leaving marks. For stamped concrete, the stamp mats should be removed, excess release agent cleaned up, and the surface ready for sealing.
- Apply EasyCureSeal™ with a solvent-resistant pump sprayer. Spray an even coat across the entire surface. Do not puddle or pool — a thin, even coat provides the best curing membrane and surface finish.
- Allow to cure. EasyCureSeal™ forms its curing membrane and begins protecting the surface immediately upon application. The concrete underneath continues its hydration process beneath the sealed surface.
- The cured EasyCureSeal™ becomes the permanent sealer. No additional sealer step is needed after the concrete finishes curing. The acrylic membrane that retained moisture during curing is now the protective seal on the finished concrete.
- Maintenance over time. As the surface wears from traffic and weather, apply a maintenance coat of EasySeal™ (the clear solvent-based sealer) to refresh the protective film. EasyCureSeal™ is for the initial pour-day application; maintenance resealing uses a standard clear sealer.
⚠ Important: EasyCureSeal™ Is for Fresh Concrete Only
Do not apply EasyCureSeal™ to fully cured or existing concrete. The curing function of this product is specifically formulated for fresh concrete that is still hydrating. Applying it to concrete that has already cured will not provide any additional curing benefit and may not perform as well as a dedicated sealer formulated for cured surfaces. For existing or fully cured concrete, use EasySeal™ or HydroCryl™.
⚠ Solvent Safety
EasyCureSeal™ is a solvent-based product. Application requires proper ventilation and safety precautions:
- Apply in well-ventilated areas (typically outdoors since fresh concrete pours are exterior projects)
- Wear chemical-resistant gloves, safety glasses, and a solvent-rated respirator
- Avoid ignition sources during and after application
- Store and dispose per local regulations
