It's the recommended product for stripping old or built-up wax before reapplying a fresh coat of ProWax Polish™.

Will ProWax Remover™ damage my sealer?
No. ProWax Remover™ is specifically formulated to remove the wax layer while leaving the acrylic sealer underneath intact. This is important because you want to strip just the wax — not the sealer that protects your stained concrete. If you need to remove the actual sealer, you would use a different product like Soy Gel Stripper (for water-based sealers) or xylene (for solvent-based sealers).

Over time, multiple layers of wax can build up and cause the floor to look dull, yellowed, or uneven. If your waxed concrete floor has lost its luster despite cleaning, or if you notice white or milky spots from wax buildup, it's time to strip and start fresh. Generally, after 4-6 wax applications (roughly every 2-3 years depending on traffic), a full strip-and-reapply is recommended rather than adding another coat on top.

ProWax Remover™ is designed as a low-effort solution — apply it to the surface, allow it to penetrate and soften the wax, then remove the softened wax with a mop or squeegee. For heavily built-up areas, a rotary floor scrubber with a green pad on low RPM can help, but it's not necessary for most residential applications.

No neutralizing step is required. After stripping the wax and cleaning the residue with clean water, allow the surface to dry completely and you're ready to apply fresh coats of ProWax Polish™. This makes the process much simpler compared to acid-based strippers that require a separate neutralization step.
Can I use ProWax Remover™ on outdoor concrete?
Can I use ProWax Remover™ on outdoor concrete?
ProWax Remover™ is designed for interior use since wax (ProWax Polish™) should only be applied to indoor concrete surfaces. Outdoor concrete should never be waxed — UV rays and rain break wax down too quickly. If you need to maintain an outdoor sealed surface, simply reapply acrylic sealer (AcquaSeal™ or EasySeal™) every 2-4 years.
