Uneven, aged slabs? A topical stain fixes it
This patio was 10+ years old, its slabs poured at different times with different textures — one significantly more porous than the other. When slab colors are uneven and the texture is rough or porous with age, a topical stain like Antiquing™ is the fix: it freshens or changes the color without needing a perfectly uniform surface. The patio was power-washed first to remove loose debris and paint (some rust and paint residue remained), then two coats of Antiquing™ went on with three hours of drying between coats. The second coat dried eight hours before sealing with a pump-up sprayer.

This stamped patio was in good shape structurally, but years of sun had faded the color and made it look old. 1,000 feet of concrete edging, recolored by hand
Debora Bolger had roughly 1,000 feet of 8–10-year-old concrete edging that had lost its color. A local company said they couldn’t recolor it — only rip it out and replace it. Instead she ordered a trial kit, talked colors with our team, and chose Satin Charcoal Tinted Concrete Sealer — applied with a roller on top and foam brushes on the back, two coats, then two light coats of solvent-based satin acrylic sealer.
