offers a low VOC, cost effective option to enhance the look of interior concrete surfaces for your home or business.
Colored concrete sealers have the same protective benefits as clear sealers with the color added bonus. AcquaTint™ is not paint. AcquaTint™ remains translucent and does not completely hide concrete imperfections.

to clean and prepare your concrete for staining. Paint, oil, and other materials on your concrete won’t allow AcquaTint™ to bond. So, in order to get the best result possible, these materials need to be cleaned from the surface. Once the surface has been cleaned and swept free of dust and debris, let it dry completely before proceeding to apply the concrete antiquing stain.
With any DIY project, safety should be your number one priority. When applying AcquaTint™ or any concrete coloring product, it’s important to take precautions to ensure your safety, and the safety of those around you.
Spiked Shoes should be used in concrete staining projects to prevent footprints and slipping when applying the stain. AcquaTint™ must be shaken vigorously before application. The spiked Shoes will allow you to walk across and around your project area without affecting your previous layer.
Shake AcquaTint™ and pour into a paint tray. Apply AcquaTint™ on floor with a 3/8″ nap roller.
Apply AcquaTint™ in even thin layers across the entire concrete surface. Applying a thick coat will result in an inconsistent finish with tacky areas that may not set-up correctly.
Allow the first coat of EasyTint to dry for at LEAST to 24 hours before applying second coat.
applying CONCRETE floor wax
Apply concrete floor wax with a trim pad or foam mop wth wringer attachment. Press out excess and push thin milky coat onto the surface. The product will appear milky when applying but it clears as it dries. Smooth out any foaming that may appear on the surface.
Allow to dry 3 - 4 hours between coats.
The final coat should dry for 12 hours before moving furniture or heavy objects across the floor.
