Concrete stain kit FAQ

Choose the system with confidence

How do I choose the right concrete stain kit?

Choose by surface first. Use EverStain, ColorWave, or Vibrance on smooth poured concrete; Antiquing on stamped or textured concrete; Portico or PaveWave on concrete pavers; and AcquaTint for interior color, sealing, and polish.

What is the difference between a bundle and a complete kit?

A bundle pairs the color product with its compatible sealer and any system-specific treatment. A complete kit adds the cleaner and core application tools. Read each product card and product page because included components vary by family.

Which systems work on smooth concrete?

EverStain creates reactive variegated color, ColorWave provides more predictable water-based color, and Vibrance creates vivid fast-drying dye color. The best choice depends on the concrete condition and desired finish.

Which systems work on stamped concrete and pavers?

Use Antiquing on stamped, broomed, or textured concrete. Use Portico or PaveWave on porous concrete pavers and similar hardscapes. Test first because texture, porosity, and existing color affect the result.

How much area does one system cover?

Most standard systems cover up to 200 square feet and most contractor systems cover up to 1,000 square feet. Vibrance covers up to 150 square feet in the standard size and up to 750 square feet in the contractor size. Actual coverage varies with porosity, texture, and application.

Do concrete stain systems include everything I need?

Complete application kits include the cleaner and core tools. Bundles and contractor systems generally do not include cleaner or application tools, and Vibrance systems require acetone. Confirm the included items on the product page before ordering.
