Allow the final coat of antiquing stain to dry for at least 8 hours.

Once the stain has fully dried, apply a solvent-based acrylic concrete sealer to protect the color from fading in the future.

This project took longer than anticipated, but the results were worth it.
First, we stripped the old sealer using a specialized product and spent one week on this step alone. Next, we used ProClean Degreaser™ and allowed it to dry overnight. The sealing process took three days, with each layer drying overnight.
To achieve the desired look, we used Direct Colors’ Cumin Antiquing DIY Kit, Cumin Antiquing Stain & Seal Kit, Driftwood Antiquing Stain & Seal Kit, and Satin EasySeal (3 layers on very porous concrete).
Personal tips: Remember to remove all the filters from the pump-up sprayer to avoid clogging and try the samples in the Trial Kits before making your final color choices.
